Chevrolet, Ford, GMC, Kia, Lincoln and Volkswagen vehicle recalls were reported by Transport Canada between March 11 and 13.
Transport Canada recalls 13,000 Volkswagen cars, model Jetta 2025 and 2026, as the gearbox massing cable may not have been connected during factory assembly. Due to this failure, wiring or some parts nearby could overheat or catch fire. Motorists affected by this recall should be notified by mail and will have to take their vehicle to a dealership for inspection.
