Thorpe Park visitors 'stuck at top' of brand new ride in 33-degree heatwave

Visitors at Thorpe Park were reportedly stuck on two rides during a staggering 33-degree heatwave for up to half an hour as the rides broke down at the same time

Thorpe Park says two rides that broke down on Monday were not affected by the heat.

Hyperia and Colossus both experienced “brief stoppages” that were controlled by operators. We’re told all riders were able to disembark and there were no safety concerns for guests.
