Sacked Spurs Boss Frank Swaps Touchline Troubles for Punditry and Tour De France
The former Tottenham manager said he will study, spend time with family and work as a World Cup pundit before taking another job.
Former Tottenham Hotspur head coach Thomas Frank confirmed on Friday he will not return to football management this summer, despite receiving "conversations and opportunities" since leaving north London in February.
After eight months in charge, the Danish manager was sacked by Spurs, leaving the club languishing in 16th place amid a woeful run of results that triggered a relegation battle.
Frank will feature as a pundit for the BBC during the World Cup and plans to experience the Tour in France. "Leaving Tottenham has given me the chance to step back and reflect," he said.
Despite approaches from Fulham and Crystal Palace, Frank has deliberately chosen not to return to the dugout this summer, prioritizing reflection over an immediate managerial commitment.
Roberto de Zerbi guided Tottenham to safety by beating Everton on the final day of the Premier League season, positioning the club for a significant transfer window rebuild after their near-relegation crisis.
