Thitikul in 3-shot lead at Mizuho
Thitikul kept her lead after a bogey and a late birdie, while Hannah Green and Celine Boutier stayed within striking distance.
On Saturday at Mountain Ridge Country Club, Jeeno Thitikul maintained a two-shot lead at the Mizuho Americas Open after carding a 2-under 70, finishing at 10-under 216.
Thitikul's initial three-shot cushion evaporated after an early bogey and a blistering start from Australia's Hannah Green, but the Thai golfer steadied herself to protect her lead.
Celine Boutier of France sits in second place at 8-under after shooting a 67, while Ruoning Yin, Hannah Green, and Allisen Corpuz are tied for fourth at 6-under 210.
Green dropped two shots on the back nine, including a bogey on the 18th, and stated, "I'm going to have to do exactly what I did on the front nine."
Seeking her first LPGA title of the year, Thitikul heads into Sunday's final round but said she is "not getting ahead of herself" despite her two-shot advantage.
