In the Wankdorf stadium in Bern, two players with fourteen years of difference were hugged, celebrating two new records, one for each. Esther González, with a doublet against Portugal in the debut of Spain in the Euro Cup, became the most veteran player in the history of the selection to score in the competition, at 32 years and 207 days. Vicky López, in the youngest to do so, at 18 years and 342 days.Two footballers who seemed never to meet.
Like Lamine Yamal, López is beating records of precocity: he has just become the youngest Spanish footballer to score in a Euro Cup.
