Early Sunday evening, a huge crowd gathered in Budapest's Kossuth Square to protest the Fidesz bill "On the Transparency of Public Life." The demonstration was a direct response to János Halász's proposal, which many see as an attack on civil society organizations and the public. According to the event organizer, the movement will not only have a message, but will also continue.
