SALINAS – Third-grade students in Salinas will have an opportunity Thursday to test the waters in their county’s biggest industry – agriculture. The Farm Day Experience is an annual educational event put on by Monterey County Agricultural Education, a nonprofit organization which aims to connect young minds with the thriving agricultural industry of the area.
