Thieves Cut Overhead Electrical Wire in Gaya-Patna Rail Section, Train Services Affected

Railway Protection Force recovered the wire and launched an investigation as engineers restored service after nearly three hours of disruption, officials said.

Thieves cut and stole an overhead electrical wire near Tehta and Jehanabad stations. This incident disrupted train services for nearly three hours on Thursday morning. Railway Protection Force recovered the stolen electrical wire material. Affected down trains were operated under single-line working while repairs occurred. The electrical wire was repaired and declared fit by railway staff.
