Researchers at the University of Granada have analyzed the relationship between pesticide exposure and the age of the first menstruation in 506 Spanish girls. The results, published in the journal Environmental Research, link higher concentrations of a fungicide residue with an advance of the first rule, while the presence of another compound derived from the chlorpyrifos insecticide is associated with a delay in it.
