- Organizers expanded the event after a 7.4-magnitude earthquake struck Colombia on Monday, killing at least 181 people, following the June 24 disaster in Venezuela that killed at least 6,300 people.
- Artists including Feid, Luis Fonsi, and Chayanne will perform, while viewers can donate by texting UNIDOS to 707070 or scanning on-screen QR codes during the broadcast.
- The Maestro Cares Foundation and Univision Foundation will administer proceeds to support nonprofit groups including All Hands and Hearts, CARE, Global Empowerment Mission, Techo, and World Central Kitchen.
- Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel will host a separate benefit concert on Aug. 23 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, his final performance with the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
