Rescue teams from all over East Iceland, from Höfn in Hornafjörður to Neskaupstaður, were called out after hikers got stuck on Búlandstindri yesterday. The emergency line received a request for help from the people last night. They were hiking on Búlandstindri above Djúpavogur yesterday morning and planned to be back down the mountain between 1 and 2 p.m. As of 8 p.m., they were still on the mountain and did not think they could get any further.…
