The District Prosecutor's Office in Mława has launched an investigation into attempted infanticide, Gazeta.pl reports. This follows an incident that occurred on Thursday in the district. A newborn was found in a closet in a house.
Officers from Mława County (Masovian Voivodeship) went to a home to help a young woman. Upon arrival, they heard a faint whimper. "They found a newborn in a cupboard," Masovian police officers reported. The child was found in time, and officers arrested three people in the case.
They received an urgent call for a young woman in need of help. While the rescue operation was underway, police officers from Mława (Masovian Voivodeship) heard whimpering coming from nowhere. A frantic search began. A newborn was found in a cupboard in one of the rooms. "It's a girl. Thanks to their quick response, she's safe and sound," Aleksandra Bardońska from the Mława police told "Fakt."
