Janez Janša sent the list of the proposed ministerial team that will make up the new Slovenian government to the National Assembly on Thursday. The candidates will be heard by committees next week. Most of them include well-known names, some with government experience.
The new government team will consist of 15 ministers, one of whom will be without portfolio. The candidate for foreign minister is a former ambassador to the United States.

The selection of ministerial candidates shows that loyalty is valued more than professionalism and proven track record, said the leader of the party, Borut Sajovic.
The government will have 15 ministries (one department without portfolio), with the SDS taking over seven departments, the three-party coalition five, and the Democrats three.
