These are the 50 fastest-growing neighborhoods in the US, according to data
RentCafe said the neighborhood added 14 times more housing units and its population grew fivefold as suburban growth reshaped the area.
RentCafe identified Chino, California, as the fastest-growing neighborhood in America after analyzing housing and population data across more than 32,000 U.S. zip codes.
Researchers defined "fastest-growing neighborhoods" as areas that added at least 51% more housing units between 2014 and 2023, maintained occupancy rates above 89.5%, and had at least 1,000 housing units by 2023.
Once known as a dairy and agricultural community, Chino has evolved into a major suburban hub in California's Inland Empire, expanding from roughly 400 housing units to more than 5,600.
Texas, Colorado, and Florida also saw significant expansion, with Texas alone claiming 17 of the nation's top 50 fastest-growing neighborhoods in the study.
Beyond sheer housing volume, many communities reported increases of up to 30% in the share of "highly educated residents," alongside healthy income gains across the fastest-expanding neighborhoods.
