Chinese automakers have almost doubled their market share in Europe in just one year.
According to data from Jato Dynamics, sales of new cars in Europe fell by 4.4% in June and accumulate a 0.3% decrease over the next year. However, the figures that really surprise them are those of the exponential growth of Chinese brands, whose registrations increased by 91% in the first half of the year, reaching 347,100 units.This gives them a share of 5.1% of the market, just below 5.2% of Mercedes and above 3.8% of Ford.
