From time to time, educators from Sampson County are afforded the opportunity through organizations such as Simple Gifts to travel beyond the borders of North Carolina, beyond the borders of the United States and into communities across the globe. They leave as teachers, but they return as students themselves, bringing home new perspectives that ultimately benefit the children sitting in our classrooms.
