More than a third of German companies are struggling with insufficient order books, according to a recent survey by the Ifo economic research institute. The recovery from the crisis is taking a long time, with industry and trade suffering in particular, while the service sector is also only seeing moderate improvement.

The automotive industry in particular faces significant problems

More than a third of companies in Germany are complaining about a lack of orders.
