About 500 protesters gathered peacefully in Los Angeles to demand accountability after a Border Patrol agent fatally shot Alex Pretti, who was armed during a targeted operation.

- A peaceful LA demonstration began at Mariachi Plaza with about 500 people who marched to the Federal Building, while the Los Angeles County Republican Party urged caution and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz said officials should lead the investigation.
