The Hungarian Competition Authority (GVH) has initiated competition supervision proceedings against Nutriversum Kft. The competition authority has noticed that the company is likely to use health claims that do not comply with sectoral regulations, as well as claims about prohibited medicinal effects, in its commercial communications. The company is also likely to falsely give the impression that certain of its products can be legally marketed.
The company uses health claims that do not comply with the relevant sector regulations.
According to the competition authority, there was a suspicion that the nutritional supplement company had misled its customers.
The GVH initiated proceedings due to health and medicinal claims and illegal distribution.
