Some epilepsy patients have been waiting for 18 years for the reimbursed medicines they need. Some patients cannot purchase certain medications at pharmacies in the country at all, so they go to Poland to buy them. The Ministry of Health says it cannot oblige manufacturers to supply medicines to Lithuania, but promises that more preparations will soon be reimbursed.
