The Kremlin submitted Wednesday that a "roadmap to the end of the war in Ukraine, to which US Secretary of State Marco Rubio alluded, is for the time being only a proposal, but supports the idea of organizing a new trilateral meeting, that is, a new meeting between Russia and Ukraine mediated by the US, after the last such meeting was in February.
The Kremlin spokesman, Dmitri Peskov, said, however, that Moscow hoped for a resumption of the trilateral negotiations in the near future, and officially confirmed that a potential trilateral summit Russia - China - United States had been discussed during the telephone interview between the Russian and American heads of state on 8 September.
