Photographer Don Victor captured this view of the O’Connor family ice skating on a small pond in Monterey. This site is actually a dammed-up portion of the Konkapot River located between the post office and Bidwell Park. According to Monterey resident Mark Makuc, the photograph was likely taken in the late 1970s.
