The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) from Chisinau has issued an alert for Moldovan citizens who intend to travel to Bulgaria. Starting on Friday, 4 July, restrictions will be imposed on the National Road 5 (DN5) in Romania, in the Gürgiu-Russe Pondo, within the hour interval 10:00-20:00. The measure is imposed by Bucharest, in the context of the high temperatures of the summer season, which can affect the structure of the pot.

The Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs Romanian citizens who are located, transits or wants to travel to Bulgaria that crossing the Danube with the ferry, at Oryahovo - Bechet Front crossing point, is temporarily suspended due to the low level of the river.
