I don't know whether to call it a debate, but is it always that I note more and more comments, in the media or on social networks, on how to describe the Acadian fact – or the French fact in Acadia – and how the Acadians would like to name themselves and define themselves. Three descriptions in particular attract my attention. Should we say: Acadian, Francophone, or minority?
