NEW YORK, UNITED STATES, JUL 16 – The Walking Dead: Dead City continues with Seth Hoffman as showrunner, following strong viewership and new threats facing Maggie and Negan in a post-apocalyptic New York City.
- On July 16, AMC Networks announced the renewal for a third season, starring Morgan and Cohan.
- Following Season 2's run, it drew 683,000 viewers on AMC plus 1.12 million across simulcasts.
- New showrunner Seth Hoffman replaces Eli Jorné, with executive producers including Scott M. Gimple, Lauren Cohan, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Brian Bockrath and Colin Walsh.
