The protest by workers at Atakum Municipality, who have not received their salaries for 5 months, has entered its 7th day, and their hunger strike its 4th day. The workers, who received a support visit from the Homeland Party, demanded a payment schedule and an end to the pressure they face, while Mayor Serhat Türkel stated that the issue would be resolved soon.
