It has been learned that the U.S. military is planning a parachute jump training exercise at Kadena Air Base (Okinawa Prefecture) from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the 15th. The information was posted in the Federal Aviation Administration's Notaum of Aeronautics (NOTAM) by the 10th. If carried out, it would be the fourth such exercise since the reopening of Iejima Auxiliary Airfield (Ie Village).
