Researchers have designed a drone that exploits the limits of human vision to be discreet. The Phantom Twist turns on itself at 25 turns per second, until it looks like a slight blurred spot. A problem remains: it still gets along very well.
With its entire body rotating at up to 25 revolutions per second, the Phantom Twist creates a blurry blur for the human eye, making it approximately 10 times harder to detect than conventional drones.
