On Tuesday, 12 May, the University of Lyon announced the abolition of 28,000 hours of courses from the start of the school year 2027. This decision is part of a comprehensive plan of rigour imposed by the State which has agitated the threat of a guardianship of the institution. To increase its revenues, the University also relies on the explosion of fees for the registration of foreign students.
