The Islamist Palestinian organization Hamas has emphasized its readiness for immediate negotiations on a ceasefire in the war against Israel. After being presented with "some ideas from the American side," Hamas is ready to "sit down at the negotiating table immediately," the organization stated. Prior to this, US President Donald Trump had called on Hamas, in a "final warning," to release the Israeli hostages it was holding.
