The last few hours in the Middle East have been marked by a barrage of cross-attacks between the United States and Iran, military actions that had not taken place for about a month. Washington opened fire, bombing and destroying two launchers on the island of Laraq. Tehran's response was not long in coming, sending missiles to Jordan and drones to an air base in the United Arab Emirates.
Washington claims it bombed Larak Island to destroy rockets intended to lay sea mines in the Strait of Hormuz, and Iran responds with attacks on American bases in Jordan and the United Arab Emirates.
