US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent called Russia's war against Ukraine one of the worst events he's ever seen in his life.
"I don't know what these negotiations will lead to, but I know that if we move on to the tripartite talks, the United States will take the position of facilitator because Europeans don't want to work together," stressed Bessent, commenting on the American negotiators' trip to Moscow and Kiev.
