In Sokółka in Podlasie, a dramatic event took place that could have ended tragically. On Thursday (July 3), after 6:00 p.m., at an unguarded level crossing, a truck drove under a passenger train on the Czyżew — Kuźnica route. The accident occurred on the extension of Kresowa Street.
First a truck hit it, and then the train derailed. A serious accident occurred in Szyszki near Sokółka. Both the road and the railway line are blocked, but fortunately no one was seriously injured. As can be seen in the photos from the scene, both the Polregio train and the traction network are badly damaged.
