The upper houses on Eiði have not had water the last few days - or only in moments.
There are only 30 houses, and the municipality has invited them up to Hólmahúsið to use the toilet, and showers and other things.
Old water pipes are torn apart. Work has been done to rebuild the pipes, but the stick is broken again.
