Teatro en 15 will present “Las Tumbas” (The Tombs), a play that blends biodrama and fiction to pay homage to one of the most enigmatic, beloved, and complex figures in Puerto Rican culture: Ismael ‘Maelo’ Rivera, the Sonero Mayor. Written and directed by Rafael Pagán, “Las Tumbas” is part of Teatro en 15’s November selection, dedicated to the theme of songs, where each work explores stories inspired by the country’s musical and artistic heritage.
