The Moonen family from Tilburg has been present at the largest fair in the Benelux for generations, which starts again this Friday. Great-grandfather's folk festival has grown into a city-wide event for which more than two hundred attractions have been inspected. At the controls, much sooner than hoped, is the fourth generation of Moonen. "I hope I have been able to pass something on to him."
Every year, before the start, Toegankelijk Tilburg makes a round of the fairgrounds to check if everything is accessible. An expert by experience like Marc Sebregts also rides along: he has only one leg and uses a handbike. ‘Fantastic gutter, Sander! One hundred points!’
