According to RTL News, a room was booked here this spring for Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš, who was supposed to come to Budapest for the right-wing conference, CPAC Hungary.
The Czech Prime Minister also visited CPAC, which is in principle independent of the government, and the ministry also paid for the five-star accommodation.
RTL: Guests of the ministry led by Péter Szijjártó were accommodated at the Dorothea Hotel with public funds - BDPST Group stated that the hotel is operated by Marriott International and they have no influence on the daily operations.
Many foreign guests enjoyed the comfort of the Dorothea Hotel. The post Tiborczes became rich from the fact that the Szijjártós used public funds to arrange accommodation for foreign ministry guests first appeared on 24.hu.
CPAC guests also received accommodation at the ministry's expense.
