Just 10 months ago, in one of the most horrific finals remembered in European football, the Tottenham broke a 27-year drought without winning a title. He did so by defeating Manchester United in the Europa League final, a match that both teams came to while dragging in the Premier League. The Spurs, in fact, ended the league in the 17th position, with a pyrrhic 38-point harvest.
