Crushed by the competition of online sites and fast-fashion, Minelli will join the list of ready-to-wear signs forced to stop their activity on 30 May, to the great disarray of customers and employees.
The shoemaker Minelli, who employs 86 people, announced its final closure after 30 May, date until which its shops will remain open.
After more than half a century of existence, Minelli will definitely cease its activity at the end of May. Placed in judicial reform last April, the shoemaker and maroquiner failed to save his business, while the brand recorded financial losses of 3.7 million euros in its last fiscal year.
For customers who will go to the stores before closing, an "exceptional discount of 60%" will be proposed, the company explains.
The shoe seller was again placed in court in April 2026.
