Helsinki Shipyard (DNY Finland Oy) has been selected to build Finland's new Aino icebreaker, Davien Finnish Shipyards announces. According to the shipyard, the purchase by the Finnish Transport Agency will launch the construction of a new generation of Finnish icebreaker fleet. The new fleet will be tasked with securing Finland's year-round maritime traffic for decades to come.
