Macron Returned to Marseille in the Midst of "War" Against Drug Trafficking

Emmanuel Macron goes back to Marseille on Tuesday 16 December. This new visit by the Head of State to the Phocean city is part of the shock caused by the on-site murder of Mehdi Kessaci, brother of anti-drug activist Amine Kessaci, on 13 November. The President of the Republic, who had launched in 2021 the "Marseille en grand" plan, intends in particular to insist on the security aspect and the fight against drug trafficking.
