The Sejm's Constitutional Accountability Committee voted on Thursday in favor of bringing Maciej Świrski, chairman of the National Broadcasting Council, before the State Tribunal.
"This is Tusk's plan - to create a reality in which only his propaganda mouthpieces operate," claims Mariusz Błaszczak from PiS.
According to Świrski, the activities of the Constitutional Accountability Commission violated the procedures required in criminal proceedings and the principles of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
The relevant parliamentary committee voted in favor of bringing Maciej Świrski before the State Tribunal. The head of the National Broadcasting Council has already commented on this decision.
The Sejm's Constitutional Accountability Committee adopted a report on Thursday on the preliminary motion to bring the chairman of the National Broadcasting Council, Maciej Świrski, before the State Tribunal, informed KO MP Piotr Adamowicz. The motion will be submitted to the plenary session of the Sejm in 21 days at the earliest. Maciej Świrski himself issued a statement on the matter.
