Helmut Gaensel, one of the most famous seekers of the legendary Štěchovice treasure, has died at the age of 92. The Lokace artefactů profile announced this on Facebook. The man born in the Chomutov region dedicated decades to searching for alleged Nazi archives, valuables and the Amber Room. Although he never found the treasure, he never stopped being convinced of its existence and repeatedly returned to the Štěchovice area.
