The Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK) has launched an investigation into allegations made against businessman İnan Kıraç regarding the marriage annulment case heard at the Istanbul 18th Anatolian Family Court and the subsequent guardianship decisions. The process, initiated at the behest of Justice Minister and HSK President Yılmaz Tunç, has assigned an inspector to investigate the allegations.
A guardian was appointed for İnan Kıraç, a businessman from the Koç family, on the grounds that he was mentally unstable. Vasile hired a lawyer from the Çorum Bar Association for Kıraç. The lawyer was paid 128 million lira. The guardians claimed that the money given to the lawyer was an advance.
