The San Fernando Wastewater Treatment Plant (PTAR), symbol of sustainability and environmental management in Colombia, celebrates 25 years of operation. Since its inauguration in 2000, this plant, operated by EPM, has been key in the sanitation of the river Aburrá-Medellín, treating more than 1 billion cubic meters of wastewater and consolidating itself as a national benchmark in innovation and environmental care.
