The Government of the Russian Federation is discussing the possible implementation of a project to build the Trans-Altai Railway, a railway entrance to China, through a 55-km stretch between Kazakhstan and Mongolia, where Altai is directly bordering the Xinjiang-Uighur Autonomous Region of the PRC, writes the newspaper Kommersant on Tuesday.
