The Running Man: Edgar Wright's Action-Thriller Headed to New York Comic Con
Edgar Wright and cast offer an exclusive preview of the dystopian film about a deadly reality show where the protagonist must survive 30 days to win a fortune.
- IGN exclusively reports Paramount Pictures will host The Running Man panel from 11:00am–12:00pm ET on Friday, October 10, at the Empire Stage in Javits Center.
- Adapted from Stephen King's novel, The Running Man, Edgar Wright promoted the film earlier this year at CinemaCon, revealing differences from the 1987 Schwarzenegger version.
- Unlike the 1987 film, Wright's adaptation shows Ben Richards evading Hunters across the U.S., with Dan Killian and Bobby Thompson as separate characters, according to the panel description.
