Ovidio Chimpean announces that an important amendment of the Patient Rights Act provides for the right to the second medical opinion, paid by the insurance system, in the case of a serious diagnosis or major intervention. However, it is at the project stage.
Patients are entitled to a second medical opinion, paid by the insurance system, which is one of the amendments made to the Patient Rights Act, approved by the Health and Family Commission, says PNL Ovidio Cimpean.
