This year we are celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the Signing of the Declaration of Independence. On June 28, 1776, the document that became the Declaration of Independence was presented to the Second Continental Congress, and after exhaustive debate and changes, the congress approved the document unanimously on July 4. Although the vote was taken on the day we celebrate, the signing didn’t take place until August 2, 1776.
