A branch of the Mikas Petrauskas School of Performing Arts will open in the autumn in the 19th-century pavilion undergoing major renovation in Kaunas Vytautas Park, the city municipality announced on Wednesday.
The revitalization of historical buildings continues in Vytautas Park - reconstruction works are nearing completion at the almost two-century-old Kurhaus. In the coming autumn, it will become a branch of the Kaunas Mikas Petrauskas School of Performing Arts and a new home for young performing artists. Last year, the school also began its activities in the adjacent renovated Neo Lithuania Palace.
